MASTERING PEOPLE SKILLS

“Seek first to understand, then to be understood”, says Habit 5 of Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Effective People. Understanding and dealing with people is one of the most challenging tasks in our daily life, simply because of the individualistic nature of people and they have their unique needs and wants. Equipping ourselves with people skills allow us to build effective relationships, understanding each others and expand out network. With the increased interest in people-oriented management, people skills are fast becoming the much needed assets for successful employees and managers.
